Super Scratch

Kia ora bloggers. For our Maori the past few weeks we have been working on how to say the weather in Maori. We had to make a creative way to show the weather and everyone used scratch. We had to make it interactive so that it stood out unlike a boring google slide. We had to say how was the weather and then the viewer has to try and answer. Here is my work

Yanny Or Laurel

Kia Ora bloggers. For this week we have been working on mind tricks. One trick we have been learning is the Yanny or Laurel trick that drove the internet crazy. The trick is some people hear Yanny and some people hear Laurel. Our activity was to make an informative piece of writing that explains how this trick is done. We had to include things like at least 4 paragraphs and conjunctions. Here is my work

Wacky Weather

 Kia ora bloggers. Welcome back to my blog. For today we were working on how to say weather in Maori. We looked trough a few different slides that showed how to say it and things you can say back if someone asks you that. There are different replies to say if someone asks you that like Kei Te Were which means it is hot. And there are much more replies. And our activity was to make a poster showing different replies to that question and making it look creative. Here is my work.

 Kia ora bloggers. For the past few weeks on Wednesday we have been working on something called KOS it stands for keeping ourselves safe. One part of this activity was is if your friend is getting emotionally or physically hurt what would you do. We went through some little comic strips about different stories. And then after that there was one box at the end of the comic left and that is where we would fill out whats happening. In the one I chose its about a boy at the basketball court getting pushed over and then his basketball is taken from him. And our activity was to write what the boy who watched that would do. Here is my work.

If you don't understand at the end is the boy who watched helping up the kid who got pushed over. I think I did pretty well even though we did not have much time and had to rush it. My question for you is have you ever seen someone getting bullied?

Fun Voki

Kia ora bloggers. Welcome back to my blog. For the past few weeks we have been talking about                New Zealand and its culture. One part of that was the Treaty of Waitangi and how it was wrong. There were to technically two treaties. One the Maori one it said they would have sovereignty over their land but in the English treaty it said they would have sovereignty. This is because there wasn't really a Maori word for sovereignty and this was a big problem. Here is a link for my Voki.

Trip To NZ

Kia Ora bloggers. Welcome back to my blog for this week we had we were talking about England Coming to New Zealand and all about their trip. We had to do the route they came on and different problems they had on the way here and then what they saw when they reached here. We had to do all of this on Canva which is a really cool website that you can use to make posters. Here is my fabulous work.

Long Leg Legos

Namaste bloggers, welcome to this blog post. Today one of our activities was to make a Lego character but of us. We had to do things like hair clothes and if we finished that we had to do the background. It was hard because it was very difficult to get the hair correct because you either didn't have the correct colour or you just couldn't do it. So it took me quite a while. Here is my fabulous work.

I hope you liked it. I think that I did well but I could have made the background a bit better.
